Mr Sibusiso Msawoni is a seasoned business leader with over a decade of high-level executive experience at the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the oldest and largest metropolitan chamber in Africa. Throughout his tenure, he played a critical role in strengthening business networks, driving stakeholder collaboration, and expanding commercial opportunities for organisations across South Africa, the SADC region, Africa, and internationally.

He held several key leadership portfolios, including:
Senior Membership Liaison & Retention Executive – fostering strong relationships with corporates, SMMEs, multinationals, and government institutions.

Membership Manager – overseeing the Chamber’s full membership division and driving growth initiatives.

Group Membership Manager – where he spearheaded strategic membership development, strengthened commercial relations, and enhanced the Chamber’s influence across major industries — including active engagement with the informal and semi-formal sectors to support township and rural economic growth.
